30 TB Community Volunteers trained on identification and referral systems for TB. Referred over 360 cases of presumptive cases to DOT centres.
Addressing "Dropout" Syndrome Among Secondary School Girls
100% class retention among 258 girls; 65% progression among peers (up from 2017/2018); enhanced knowledge of female sexuality and steady academic improvement.
Community TB Awareness/Outreach
Enhanced TB knowledge among residents; 2,450 screened with PDX machines; 67 clients completed treatment.
Life Planning for Adolescent and Youth
Enhanced the knowledge, skill and attitude of adolescents and youths on sexual and reproductive health leading to behavioural changes.
Teachers' Skills Enhancement Project (TSEP)
Trained 140 public primary school teachers in pedagogy, classroom/curriculum management, stress/time management, and digital teaching tools. Developed a detailed training manual and delivered over 15 thematic sessions.
Community Awareness on Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases
Improved public awareness on malaria and HIV/AIDS; increased antenatal commitment to malaria prevention and child immunization; more individuals regularly monitor blood pressure, sugar levels, and other vital signs.
